Journey does not seem to mind the critique from his brothers.
We got the tail end of a typhoon from Japan. Last I heard, Kelso got about 6" of rain, in a couple days. It certainly helped bring back the green to our lawn. It was so nice to get outside and to let Journey work out on the equipment. I did not uncover the teeter, as it may rain again shortly. I also do not have the A-frame back up on the course yet. It is mostly finished and really looks good.
Journey still loves doing the weave poles. I have never trained a dog that loves the weaves as much as he does. When he makes a mistake he usually knows it immediately and he restarts himself to do it right. I love the way Pirate and Quest watch him. Occasionally Quest demonstrates for Journey. Pirate usually follows along beside Journey as he does the jumps.
Quest enjoys being a spectator.

Well, it sure is not easy directing Journey and trying to take pictures at the same time. Guess we will just play ball for a while instead.

We have a lot of practicing to do. Journey is in another agility trial in about three weeks. I really need to get the rest of the equipment out, but the weather may not cooperate. It is supposed to rain again soon. Tomorrow is Journey's agility lesson, so we will be concentrating on a lot of the games we will be doing at this next event. He is doing so well, I am very proud of him. He loves agility and for a beginner, he is quite good. I am a little rusty, having been out of it for several years. Sometimes I expect someone might come up behind me and tap me on the shoulder, telling me I am too old to be doing this. So far - so good though and I am sure enjoying being able to get back into it.
The most wonderful part of this sport is the tremendous bond that forms between us. I have watched Journey grow and develop. I have not found this happens as much in other activities that we have pursued.
So onward and upward, for as long as we can. Chasing the sometimes illusive "clean run".
